Easy to prepare on the stovetop, microwave, or rice cooker, Falak brings consistent premium quality and exquisite flavor to your table every time.

Pre-Cooking
Rinse the rice thoroughly, and soak for 25 minutes. Add 1 tbsp of butter or oil or margarine; and salt to taste.

Stove-Top Cooking
Open pan cooking: 5 cups of water for 1 cup of rice. Bring water to rolling boil. Add the rice and stir gently. Cook uncovered for 6-7 minutes on medium heat. Drain and rinse with more boiling water.
Closed Pan Cooking: 2 cups of water for cup of rice. Bring water and rice to boil. Cover pan with a tight lid and let it simmer for 9-10 minutes. Remove from heat and allow it to stand covered for 5 minutes.

Microwave
Place the soaked rice and water in a bowl. Stir once and cover with plastic wrap. Cook for 6 minutes. Remove bowl from the oven and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
NOTE: For a 650 watt Oven, microwave less than 1-1/2 cups of rice at a time.

Rice Cooker
Use the same ratio as the “Closed Pan” method: 2 cups of water for every 1 cup of rice. Add 1 tbsp of butter, oil, or margarine, and salt to taste into the rice cooker bowl with the water and rice to prevent sticking and add flavor. Turn the rice cooker on. Once the cooker switches to “Warm,” let it stand covered for 5–10 minutes (similar to the resting time recommended in the manual methods). This allows the final steam to fluff the grains perfectly.
